Project Objective

This project is a landing page concept for Flatbush Cats, a New York based non-profit organization with a mission to reduce the stray cat population in the Brooklyn neighborhood. Their current site lacks information hierarchy which can result in confusing users visiting for more information. This project aims to create a functional and user friendly experience for those interested in learning how to help their neighborhood with a growing cat population. 

Style Tile

At the beginning of every web design project, I create a style tile to establish the brand imagery, typography, color, and UI elements.

I explored a minimalistic layout, san serif type, and a bold color choice to bring attention to important information throughout the site.

By keeping it minimal, users can navigate and search for information faster and easier.

Wireframing

After establishing a visual identity for the brand, I began wireframing the website. I decided to have it as a one page scroller for users to find information quicker.
