Arclight's mission is to deliver a premium movie-going experience to audiences without compromise. They value a viewing experience like no other supported through the focus on delivering first-rate guest service and a distraction-free environment.

Project Goals

Improve User Experience

Why? It will help users navigate through the site to search for their favorite movies, upcoming showings, services, and more. By improving the experience, it will increase sales and drive more users to the site.

Design an Attractive Website

By updating the design with elements that enhance the luxury tone will entice movie lovers to attend Arclight’s movie screenings or sign up for membership.

New Features and Services

The movie theater offers many services and member benefits, but how do you elevate the services during a global pandemic? By including new features and services such as streaming and drive thrus, it will bring a larger audience.

The Strategy - Atomic Design

Utilizing atomic design created by Brad Frost, I started with creating atoms and molecules to help establish design elements that will ensure consistency through the site and from designer to developer

 Design System

This system best reflects the brand with a luxury and modern tone. I didn’t want to draw attention away from the movie posters on the site so I decided to keep it minimal with color choices.
